The Pools of Oheo
While visiting the amazing island of Maui, there are so many sites and attractions that you will want visit and explore. If you are creating a list of things to see and do in Maui, I highly suggest you add the beautiful Pools of Oheo to the list.
Also known as the “Seven Sacred Pools,” are located in the Haleakala National Park in the Oheo Gulch and are the last stop at the end of the famous Road to Hana (the Hana Highway). While this name suggested that the location consists of seven pools, it is actual quite inaccurate, as there is far more than just seven pools to the Pools of Oheo. The site is actually comprised of a series of waterfalls that flow into dozens of pools and eventually make their way into the waters of the Pacific Ocean.
